Custom grips
« on: November 19, 2024, 12:54:32 PM »
I had Brian of Designer Grips make me a matching set of display grips for a Seecamp and Rohrbaugh.   He knocked it out of the park!!!  They are incredible.  As always he does great work.

Very nice. Brian is a very talented guy.

Those look great.

If my Seecamp was at all reliable I would love to have a matching set like that.

Has anyone figured out a way to shoot that gun without cutting their finger?

I haven't cut myself yet,  but mine likes to feed the round too high, so instead of going into the barrel it jams between the magazine and the top of the ejection port.  It makes it tricky to clear it because if you drop the magazine the slide locks.

Wanderer, drop the mag, empty it, replace but then drop it 1/4”.  The slide will then function.  Does your pistol feed high with any other magazine?  I might be that the mag rails or follower are damaged to cause your problem.

I’ve never had my .32 LWS cut my hand  (size 8 glove , so fairly small)….just lucky I guess.

Sorry folks, thought this was about Seecamp pistols after seeing the pics of grips.  Advice about the high insertion still valid.

It's the .380 that cuts me up.

A gun in the hand is only good if you can hold on to it.  The 380 feels more like a hand grenade to me!

Mine is the 380,  it has done it with several different magazines.  I'll need to spend some time ammo testing to see if I can find one that doesn't do it.

Fortunately, Seecamp is one that I missed buying.
