New Old Stock Covert
« on: June 15, 2023, 01:56:27 PM »
A sweet new old stock Rohrbaugh R9s Covert is on Gunbroker.  Not mine but if I had the money I'd keep bidding, lol.

That's nice.  Comes with a few hard to find and desirable accessories and extras.

I'm interested to see where this ends up. Looking at the slide, this R9 has all of the updates done to it. Nice unfired R9 there.
A great carry piece in 9mm.

Looks like $1625 was the magic number.

It would seem that the numbers for these small pistols are still strong. Great to see this.

Why does it say sold and then re-listed & then cancelled? Strange...
Having a gun in your hand is much more effective than having the entire police department on the phone!

It reappeared on GB today.  My guess is the winning bidder didn't follow thru.

I asked the seller and he confirmed a non paying bidder.

The seller of this covert said it sold 4 times, and all 4 times the winning bidder never paid.     The seller is retired military and just wanted to sell the gun.   Yes, I made a deal with him and purchased it outright.   I can’t share the price, but I did more than extremely well - and the seller is the nicest guy you’d want to meet.  This Covert was never fired,  aside from the gun I also rec’d a 2nd box of accessories - I should never need to buy anything for any of my Rohrbaugh for the rest of my life !!
Guess ya just need to be in the right place at the right time.
I’m lucky, someone was watching over me the day I got this one.
BUT, I AM LOOKING FOR A .380 Rohrbaugh if anyone has one, Please !a,

That's great news, glad your persistence paid off.

Never hurts to ask.
