I finally dyed my pink grips
« on: May 16, 2023, 01:12:47 AM »
After getting my Rohrbaugh a while back, I started looking for some checkered g10 grips so I could hold onto that little thing a bit easier. The only color I could find was pink. I thought I could live with that until I absentmindedly stuck the pistol in the pocket of a mesh motorcycle jacket before going on a ride. Yep, the pocket on that jacket was mesh too. So, after 2 bottles of Ritt black dye and about 5.5 hours total simmering time split into 2 sessions, I think the grips came out okay.
