The Covert Carrier is easily removed with no remaining marks.

I wasn't sure if they may have relieved the back of the grip to ensure reliability on the pup because it's under the right side.

I don't disagree with the fact it's easy to remove, I just wonder if the back of the grip has a notch to allow it to remain tight to the frame to make sure the trigger spring stays on.

I really don't think they'll need replacing.

Not a bad price with 2 mag extensions, about $800 for the gun.

This one sold for $914.  I considered it, but couldn't be sure if the grips were good.

I asked the seller if it could be easily removed, here is his reply:

Yes it can. When it was installed they had to counter sink it into the grip and epoxy it into place, but the epoxy can be removed and the clip taken off. This would probably leave a small open area in the very back of the grip. Which could be filled with epoxy very easily and should not be noticeable. I would use JB Weld Quick 15 minute epoxy since you can custom blend the color. One tube is black and one white. You can also pick up a set of Hogue Extreme grips for $69. That is what I would do.
