I noticed in the Bass Pro flyer I got in the mail yesterday morning that they had the P365 for $529.  I called at 11am to see if they actually had any and they had 15 left.  By the time I got there at 4pm, they only had the display model and two in the back.  The other salesman goes "One of those in the back is mine."

Did you get one?

With sales tax, I got it for $561.  The previous twelve buyers bought all the extra mags and holsters they had in stock.  I already have the ammo and extra mags, I'm just waiting on a backordered holster.

I have an extra Sig p365 holster if you're interested.

I’m using a recluse horsehide one sided pocket holster for mine.
I like it.

Close enough for half the price and 10+1 vs 6+1.

Thanks for posting the comparison picture.

The first pic in the post three posts up is the R9 sitting on top of the P365

The Sig is pocketable for me, but it is quite bit heavier, and much more of a lump.

Both are very unique carry pieces with their own special features.

Sig p365 15rd magazines just became available on https://www.sigsauer.com/store/p365-micro-compact-15rd-9mm-magazine.html Of course I had to order a few.  I probably won't carry this in the gun as the extension is pretty long, but I would definitely make this the spare.

Interestingly I think my G43 is about the same weight as the new sig, empty and it holds damn near twice as many rounds. I see why the craze.

I bought one about three weeks ago.  Got the plain black model even though the gun shop had the new tan models, and the newest version with safety.  I figured the safety was one more thing to go wrong, & after a somewhat troubled launch, why buy a new feature (to the P365) that could cause reliability issues?
After several hundred rounds of WWB & Herter's FMJ, I fired 115, 124, & 147 gr Speer GDHP in mixed magazines with no issues. Even successfully tried some standard pressure Underwood Xtreme Defender all-copper "end mill" rounds, which the Rohrbaugh didn't care for..  (Also fired some of the Underwood +P Xtreme Defender rounds successfully.)
I called Sig to order some spare parts, but all they had so far were Recoil Spring Assemblies.  Recommended change interval is 2,500 rounds.  The Sig rep then told me that they had just released a 15 round mag, so I bought one of those, too.  Shooting a 15-round mag of Xtreme Defenders is like throwing $20 bills in the trash.  Yikes!
Post-range session field strip and cleaning revealed no issues & no visible wear - even to the black coating on the barrel or the rails.  So far, so good. But nothing will carry like the Rohrbaugh!!
