More RM 380's on sale
« on: December 27, 2017, 11:41:32 AM »
Point Blank range in Carmel 317-660-9100 has, starting tomorrow, a sale on the RM 380. Price, after rebate, is $119. IF I shot the .380 caliber I would give it a try but I don't want to add another caliber.

How do you make a profit with a 100% made in America firearm at that price?

At $119.00 after the rebate. . . . . They are still making a profit. They would have to I would think.

I wonder about that or it it's just more important to advertise for free or at a small cost.

I'm still looking for the $199 they are all sold out but I'll buy 5 if I can find them

If you find a dealer feel free to use my buying power to negitiate a bulk purchase and let me know

I recently bought 5 Rem 870 Marine Police with the $50 rebate but this $100 rebate is insane

Most dealers have jacked their prices

I got an email from Buds offering $209 pre rebate and instantly click the link to find $278 as the price

Two days left! Rebate ends 1/6.

$209 - $100 = ridiculous!

IF I shot a .380 I would be on that like a hobo on a ham sandwich but I don't want to add another caliber.

I hit them up for some free shipping if I ordered two (one is for a buddy). They were nice enough to email me back and tell me that they couldn't do it, because they are on razor thin margins with this particular gun. Then they re-sent today's email stating "Flat shipping rate of $14.95" under the picture of this gun.  ;D

If i carry 380, it's my Seecamp. I might SHOOT this RM380, but i don't see it being in my holster when i could have my R9 protecting me.

But man for $125, that is still a smokin' deal...

so on Jan 3rd I was getting nervous about missing the deal I wish I'd have seen the Black Friday offer and been better prepared buy I bought 5 at $229 plus $14.95 shipping for all 5 via Mid West Guns (I also paid the 3% CC penalty because I wanted the sale dated pre Jan 6th) they shipped the next day and arrived fast in perfect order. I pre registered online with Remington for the rebate and mailed the paperwork a few days ago. I'll post if the $500 rebate is successful

I must say I love the ambi mag release and the feel with the mag extension is awesome! The trigger pull is light and as smooth as any $2000 mouse gun I've ever owned in fact it's better than Seecamp, better than Boberg and as good as or better than the R9 Wilson Combat tricked out I'm very happy. It's not as pretty as a real R9 but what is ?

I did 5 Rem 870's in December ranging from Tac-14 in standard and Marine plus a pair of Marine Police Magnums and a standard Marine Magnum. Remington honored 4 of the 5 rebates but the Marine Tac-14 sku was not part of their "any Rem 870 shotguns" <sarc>. the weird thing was the company I ordered the Marine $679 Tac-14 from never charged my CC even though they shipped the next day. I emailed them 3 times asking when they would charge my card and got one snappy reply stating they had already done it so needless to say after they snapped at me I just believed them lol - 100% rebate NICE!!!

I like the RM380's enough that I'm considering selling off my collection of Seecamp 32's and 380's (all Milford many NIB one engraved) I'll buy a nice Harely or UTV side by side with the Seecamp windfall and I'll have a $140 RM380 in every glovebox, boot holster and pocket for the price of one Seecamp ! I've been carrying an LWS32 since 1991 but this week I was changing grips fighting the grip screw tension issue and realized this is really a 95% great design combined with 5% FUBAR built in - maybe Rem can buy the rights and make it 100% for $149 lol

I am surprised they honored one of the Tac-14s since they are technically not shotguns, even though they fire a 12 gauge shell.

Really surprised that a rebate is anywhere near them, they are the hottest things going right now.

Let us know how you like them, and give us a range report if you can.
