Trigger pull on the Korth semi-auto is 5.5# DA and 3.3# SA. My pistolsmith said that the slide moves on the rails like it is on ball bearings.

Korth's new PRS 4 auto really looks like a neat arrangement.  Like a 1911 but completely different lockup with a fixed barrel.

Worth 10K?   We'll see.

I have never seen a Korth auto loader but I have picked up their revolvers at Gun shows.

The Korths I looked at were used but like new.  They are very nice revolvers, but at the time I could have bought 4 or 5 Pythons for the same price and 8 or 9 Smiths.

They just were not THAT nice for me to justify that kind of money.

Here is a good audio visual in German and may require some fast forwarding because it is long; I'm sorry for the hijack, Josh, but I got carried away with this grail gun.

Though the Korth is beautiful I would likely have a hard time shelling that kind of money out personally. Nothing against anyone who would, but just my personal feeling right now.

I did love the build design and quality. Baller as my kids would say. Lol.

And it ranks well in the excellent 1911 addicts high end pistol guide.

Google around on this if you love high end pistols ; )

Interesting list JoshA.  Did not know that some of my collection would rate so highly to get on that list, LOL.

One thing I want to bring up for those that don't know about them is the Cabot 1911.  A friend of mine, who could not stand the look of a 1911 style pistol, saw one at the NRA show a few years back.  She ordered one, and after about a year finally got it, with a few upgrades.  Fantastic pistol, one of the finest machined tools I have ever held.  We shot one box through it, cleaned it, then into the safe it went.  Not that it is not liked, just never seem to have the perfect situation to bring it out to shoot.  Guess we are blessed to have other options.

I don't know if the Korth has ever won a NRA National Pistol Championship, but a Cabot in the hands of Brian Zins has won at least twice.

Grips and most of a few guns are being made out of that asteroid. (from what I read)

Well I've found that both the P7 and P210 are really cool guns IMO and also a little querky.

P7 querks:
A) gets hot with excessive shooting
B) gets very dirty very quickly
C) leaves an odd black mark on the web of the shooting strong hand
D) expense
E) hard to find a good deal
F) the M8 is really hard to get at a fair price IMO

P7 cool:
A) Awesome looking
B) awesome engineering marvel
C) safe gun considering the cocker must be squeezed prior to going into action
D) accurate
E) handles well/points well
F) seems to hold value well enough
G) a bit of a cult pistol with some real obsession behind it (if your into that kind of thing)

Since you brought up "Cult", have you looked at this site?

Park City Tactical/ Cult of the P7

They used to be quite active but I have not looked there for a long time.

I might add a few to your list.

Pro:

Works fine when extractor broken or missing due to fluted chamber

Does not matter whether you squeeze the trigger or cocker first, will fire when the other is pressed. (Yeah, pull the trigger, then pull the cocker to fire it.)

Very thin gun

Built like a tank

If you lose it in a fight with a turdball, he may not know how to operate the gun possibly saving your life.

Con:

Not very many aftermarket grips and accessories

Some will not like the European style magazine release on the heel

Heavy

Love my HK P7M8 - I could fill a forum with all the good things I have to say about this marvel of German engineering.  I absolutely love my HK P7M8.  I've owned it since 1985 and it has been flawless - out of the box, year after year, all sorts of ammo, never a single problem or malfunction EVER.  It is just a fabulous gun:

The P7M8, IMO is the most ingenious handgun ever created.  I don't have to worry about having to unlock a cocked handgun, or deal with inconsistent DA/SA trigger pull, or crunchy "safe action" type triggers - the P7 is fantastic.  In 30 plus years of shooting the P7M8 I've never had one single failure of any kind.

Yes. I ended up with a p7 with the heel release (would have Prefered the m8 version) and really like it so far. It's a super cool gun with the reliability to back it up. I'm very pleased with the purchase so far. More range time is needed.
