FS: NIB Stealth Elite
« on: May 06, 2010, 08:55:49 AM »
Hi all, it is about time for me to pack my bags for the M.E. and I still need to make a little room. I have decided to part with my Stealth Elite which is new in box including shipping box. This is not a money thing so please email me your best offers and we shall see if this little piece of art finds a new home. Please no silly lowballs, we all know these are basically going no where but up and what they are priced at on GB. I would rather have it go to a member here who knows and appreciates what this piece represents.
Thanks, Phil

The last one put on Gunbroker was listed at $1495.00 (Last week). You are correct they are going up a little. The ones listed on there now have been listed for a very long time by the same guy. He is a good example of what happens when being unrealistic in a bad economy has an affect. Good luck with your selling, sorry to hear you are parting with it.

dano.  Best of luck on this new Stealth Elite.  Phil is excellent to do business with.

Ken, Thanks for the compliment, I do try as difficult as it can be at times. What is right and fair is what is right and fair. I am not a gun broker, just a guy who enjoys the best quality, great craftsmanship and engineering and of course the best  and highest quality protection for myself and family when I need it.

The Elite is now off the table as I have sold one of my Mustangs and now do not need the extra room. Box is packed by the Elite has a special place. Anyway the Colt went for almost as much as the two tone R9, quite amazing, different era, different technology, great old design. Went to a friend of a friend who made me an offer I could not refuse. Anyway I get to keep one of my favorite weapons and that is good!

Great, Phil.  Glad you got to keep the Elite.  Wish you the best in the ME.  Thanks again for the Seecamp.

Ken, Enjoy the seecamp, It is in great shape like I told you, have you taken it to the range yet? Snappy little guy. I may look for another when I get back from Afghanistan, trying to build a safer environment for our troops, no more shower electrocutions etc. Hopefully all goes well with my physical, I am not as young as I used to be and they put me through a pretty comprehensive stress test. Anyway enjoy, I am very pleased I was able to sell the Colt rather than the Elite. I was not going to let it go for what I paid for it, I think alot of folks need to look back and read about the Elite and what wen into its manufacture. That is one beautiful piece.  I have another Colt which one day will go to the custom shop for a good working over.
