The seller was certainly right when his description said WOW.

Vito has great aspirations. W😳W.

That particular seller from Pompano has many guns listed on GunBroker and all of them are way overpriced. Same as the guy from Reading ,Pa. He has had the same overpriced ad up for years. The guys at Gunbroker explained that dealers can do this as they pay a flat fee and the just keep "letting it ride" in case somebody eventually comes along and buys.

I just called and asked if they have any Rohrbaughs in house and he said yes. Only one. A R380. Also, the guy was very rude and impersonal. Wow.

"Only The Best" name for a gun store appears to be a self imbued moniker and Vito seems to have a sense of self aggrandizement. They can make do without my business.

Oh and I forgot to mention that he told me the price was $1950.

Yikes. I guess a fellow can ask whatever he wants, but why not be in the same Galaxy as another Rohrbaugh 380?

Oh well.

Vito is a very proud owner and trying desperately to live up to the name of his gun store.

Good God! What should an R380 sell for?

I just returned from this board after a very long absence, thinking I might see if there was a used R380 for sale, only to learn that Rohrbaugh has been sold to Remington! Does that make my R9 Stealth a collectors item? And does it make the R380 unobatnium?

Nah, it doesn't have to be an R-380, any .380 that's reliable will do. I thought the R-380 would be nice because a a locked breech pistol I was thinking the recoil would be very light. Its for a recall sensitive shooter. Thanks for the info!
