 What % condition would you place this Pistol? At 100% the Bluebook is $875.00 at 95% it is $550.00 . Blubook has been known to be off some though.  But that is a rather large range, Is this an anniversary model?

I would rate pistol a stong 98% or better and the blubook is always lower than market rate. IMHO, Blue book always leans towards a price for a gunshop to buy from an individual then flip it for profit closer to what the actual market will yield. For example: look up a P7K3 in there sometime and then look what they go for on GB :o

Jack F, ...sorry bud, I didn't get a chance to dig it out of safe last night. I will double my efforts tonight! I am thinking however that it is either early to mid '90 production.

Enigma, just trying to help. Age on S&Ws is an enigma. If the serial # does not have a letter prefix it's before 1970. Otherwise go to Range Fire Central and follow the instructions to get to a list of M41 serial numbers. It's free and trustworthy. Or you can buy a Standard Catalogue of Smith and Wesson. It's a sport in itself, trying to master S&W D.O.B. Good luck with your sale of what looks to me a peach

After looking at paperwork inside, it appears to be early '90s vintage.

You can probably call S&W and give them the serial # and they will tell you when it was made, I have done this with Colt and Glock.

And to answer production range Q, it is early '90s vintage...condition is near mint with all paperwork and box. (it is not an anniversary pistol)
