War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse.

Don't rule out Rohrbaughs still being built in Pineville.

From an outsider looking in, that would not make much sense but not much about this move has I guess.

We are all outsiders, for sure.  Time will tell, and pretty quickly I think.

That would make sense, for them to stay in Pineville. What better place then a up and running production plant. The gun is hand fitted. Is not the Jaguar still built that way also? Just a fine weapon, as close to an art form as you can get.

Could we say cautiously optimistic?

Below is a recent, May 28th, article from the Christian Science Monitor on the current big picture of the gun industry in transition. I started reading this publication occasionally when I discovered that one of my Navy Attack Squadron mates is one of their editors. No mention of Rohrbaugh here but info on them must still be under wraps.

After going this long with out an announcement it is certainly looking like it is unclear even to The Freedom Group what is going to happen with Rohrbaugh.

Here is a faint ray of hope on a trademark filing for Rohrbaugh shirts, T shirts, sweatshirts, and hats by Para USA LLC.

Tracker, if I read this right, Para applied for the trademark in 2006 but it was abandoned May 30, 2014??  Strange.

It is difficult to interpret the meaning of this but Bruce Adams, the attorney for this filing, is a correspondent of Rohrbaugh Firearms. It's just a guess but this may just be the legal process where they cancel and reapply. I was happy to see any activity but one could read any number of things into this filing.

It's not clear to me what the website is saying.  It is a private vendor, not an official record.  However, Para had nothing to do with Rohrbaugh in 2006.

I called the NY attorney's office and the receptionist would only confirm that Rohrbaugh is a client of Bruce Adams. That really doesn't mean anything, though.

I'm surprised they would say that much.  I think that is their old attorney though from 2006.

She just let it slip and she mispronounced Rohrbaugh, which is not uncommon.
