I would like to check and see if there is interest in this early serial number (R1xx) Farmingdale R9s.  She has the original blue carbon fiber grips, 2 mags, and some extras in the box (I'll check on that).  Comes with a RL Graham ostritch right hand side pocket holster which I have used on occasion when I carry this gun.  Fantastic setup.  Rare gun, ladies and gents...

I have always had a fascination with the R9, but as time required to raise a growing family has permitted less and less practice, I only have 100% confidence IN ME when I carry one of my P7's or a Ruger Sp-101.  You gotta be darn good with your R9 to hit a fist sized target at 20 feet with regularity, my personal benchmark for precision in being comfortable carrying this piece.  Once you acquire the skill to do that, all it takes to maintain it is practice.  Alas, I do not have the time to maintain that.  I could still hit the boogeyman between the eyes at 20 feet in my sleep with any of my P7's.  I have owned several R9's, and in fact have never shot this particular one.  I bought it used from a forum regular a couple of years ago.  She is used, but certainly lightly used.  I'd rate her 98% due to some slight imperfections on the trigger guard, nothing serious.  Will post more pics if there are interested parties...

Open to entertaining offers...I'll try and surf the web this weekend and come up with a fair price.

Folks, this looks to be one of the rarest Rohrbaughs ever made...  Silver framed Farmingdale! Someone should snap this up and not think twice, one of 12 to ever leave the factory and discontinued b/c they were difficult to produce makes for a great collectible.

I was actually thinking that this would be the one to replace R343.  Hope that he gets back to you soon. Goodluck.

Interesting, looks like he used to own R343 as well and had a matching set. Small world.

I agree a price should have been posted with or shortly after the original posting.  I know of no place on the net that lists selling prices of silver framed farmies. As far as I know only two have changed hands privately over the forum in the past couple years so there isn't much public price data out there. My interest in this gun is only as a spectator (will not be making any offers) but I wish those involved good luck on this special gun.

You could gauge and generate a lot more interest with a posted price as required by the classified rules.

If this is not a sale listing it might be better to move it to the Water Cooler section.

Do believe the posting rules state no auctions.
Listing as best offer, generally suggests an auction.
