Notice particularly the 71-year-old gentleman's technique. He is seated at the right end of a row of computers with his back to the door when the two BGs enter the room. BG#2 wearing mask and hoodie and waving his pistol about "gangsta style" as he attempts to force patrons to move into what might have been planned as a "kill zone" doesn't even seem to notice the gentleman's presence. The gentleman then swivels around, springs out of his chair with his own pistol in hand. BG#2 notices the movement and turns to confront the gentleman, whereupon the latter begins aimed fire. This takes both BGs completely off guard, wounds BG#2, and begins the process of ending the threat. Also notice in the final frames of the surveillance video that the gentleman's trigger finger appears to be out of the trigger guard and along the slide of his pistol as soon as he has ended the threat to himself and his fellow patrons in the cafe.
_____
Somehow I feel that this wasn't the gentleman's "first time in a rodeo."
