Just picked up my new (to me) R9

   Today I picked up my new R9 which I recently purchased on the forum. I can now understand why everyone on the forum loves these guns! They are works of art and built like a tank. In a separate purchase I reunited the carbon fiber grips with the gun. They look pretty darn good together!!
   I am looking forward to shooting the R9 to see what ammo it likes. I hope it is not too picky. Many thanks to Eugene. I'm saddened for his loss but happy for my gain.
   I should be receiving soon a holster which I also purchased on the forum. It should complete the package and I look forward to carrying the gun/holster in my front right pocket!

And congrats from me as well, Chuckster and just realized I hadn't welcomed you to the Forum, so welcome and enjoy the really nice R9 and those rare grips; one amazing pistol, for sure.

I just compared the Rohrbaugh to my S&W BodyGuard 380. It is slightly shorter in length, about the same in height, and just , just slightly wider in width. Amazing!!! The BodyGuard has a built in laser but the R9 has a more powerful cartridge. A fair tradeoff.

Congrats.  The trade off isn't even close!!  If it ever came down to actually having to use your firearm for it's intended purpose, I highly doubt the masses would even notice the laser.  Small small trade off for the quality of firearm you now own.  Enjoy your new pup.
