nyr, a suggestion re: shipping. If you go overnight UPS it costs a bundle insured...I went that way once. Now I go to my local gun dealer and have him ship it...cost me about $30 to ship a Seecamp out for engraving. I also ended up sending an R9 back for an issue that turned out to be a defect in the firing pin retainer which was out of spec...caused all kinds of problems. Went back on my dime which did not make me happy. When I spoke to Maria, the explanation was that enough new purchasers didn't study the pistol, keep the grips tight, clean it properly, use correct ammo, etc. that the company found almost all returns were due to user error. The repair was excellent and professional with lots of personal input from Karl. In spite of all of that, my constant carry is now the R9 which functions flawlessly and is replaced only by my Seecamp if clothing/concealment issues require it.
