I just spoke to a Sig rep about the new Sig Sauer 224. It is a WAY cut down version of the P229 in their classic line of pistols. Right now it is out in their DAK trigger only. This summer it will be available in a DA/SA version that I will take a long hard look at. It comes in 9MM and .40 S&W. I don't know if they plan to make it .45ACP. I will have to make a phone call on that one.
For those of us who like the classic line Sig's this could be an nice addition to the R9 in your collection.
