This post is just to share some information on a product I've started using, just in case some of you might find it of interest.

I'm one who has long considered suspenders as simply something my grandfather used to wear. However, I've noticed that when I am out in the woods, in addition to my usual pocket gear including my R9 and its spare magazine, I tend to load my belt with various items -- holstered 1911 and spare magazines, tactical flashlight, folding hunter, cellular telephone, multi-tool, and even my old Army Zippo lighter in its leather case. I'm 5'11" tall, weigh in at 167 pounds, and am rather narrow at the hips.

Problem: With the weight of all that gear I find myself having to hitch up my cargo pants every 30 minutes or so.

Solution to Problem: http://www.duluthtrading.com/store/product/mens-regular-metal-free-suspenders-61044.aspx

These side-clip suspenders "ain't the suspenders your granddaddy used to wear." They resemble the rig for a shoulder holster more than a pair of suspenders. I find I can wear them with comfort all day while tromping around in the woods carrying all my gear.

I have two sets of these. The ones with the rubber clips work best for me. They are better than the older four point attachment style.

Being "full figured" I also like the companies long tail tees. ;)

It's hard to find belts with buckles designed to face the ground!!!!!!!!!!
