It is a fact that I'm starting a rumor right now that the R45 will be hitting the market in June of this year.  I will also state that this is wishful thinking and I have only marginal evidence to back up this information.   I also will lie to you and say that I have held the prototype and shot it with factory ok'ed +p+ ammo.  It's smaller, lighter, and holds two more rounds than the R9 does and only recoils about half as much.  It has checkered front and back straps, nite sites, a manual safty, a built in laser guidrod, 4 mags and take down tools in the factory aluminum hard case.  It's a most fantastic gun.  I said I would keep all this a secret but thought you guys might "need" to have this information.  O-yea MSRP is $595 and they will knock 50% off that if you trade in a kel-tec at time of purchase.

Now you know!  ::)

corey,
  It's obvious the layoff has had a traumatic effect on your mental well being,  or you are smoking something much better than what was available in the 60s. Another option is you need your meds adjusted.
 But I'm going out tomorrow and look for a kel-tec to trade in, and transfer $595 to my checking account so I'm ready to go.

What if I were to say that the prototype was concealed in that Haugen "Boxter" the photograph of which I posted earlier in this thread?

(Would that it were!   ;D)

I'd say, Richard, you've been into the Bushmills 21 again, a little too much!     ;D     ;D

The Bushmills is much more predictable than the R45.

At this point, the R45 is just a wish; however, at some point will happen.    :)

No its not just a wish, its a done deal.  They have 100 or so already and are waiting to have 500 done before they start shipping, honest.  This is me locking the door after I shot it....

Well, at last!  I can hardly wait for that other 400.  Maybe you could talk them into going ahead a ship that first 100!    :)

I don't know. It looks rather small and easily breached.  ;)

I will continue my theme for this thread (lie as much as possible) and tell you in upmost honesty that you sir are correct.  I just had it built.  It is a 5,000 sq.ft. safe with a 300 yard underground shooting range tunnel built off one end of it.   I won't go into what all I have in their only because I would not want to make any of you fellows jealous.   :-X
