Custom serial number
« on: June 03, 2004, 11:41:41 PM »
I know that some manufacturers offer custom serial numbers at customer request. Just a thought, as I'd be inclinded purchase another if I could "personalize" it a little.
Keep watching, I'm bound to do something stupid again.

I rather doubt they would do it .... but anyways .. any of us getting early guns have a pretty special S/N anyways .. in as much as, real low numbers.

With the present heavy workload to get guns out, I doubt for that reason alone they'd want any extra paperwork etc!  Later maybe - who knows!

They do offer personalized S/N's.  I received my R9-S on May 13th with my initials-001.  When I get a second.. logically it will be initials-002 :).  I don't care about the collectability of regular low numbered S/N's, although I certainly understand it - I intend to carry it and shoot it and some day give it to my boy or girl (guess that's more reason to get a second one.. so each child will have one :))

The option costed $60 extra.
