Is Cerakote a better finish than Poly-T2 or NP3+   ???

I always thought Poly-T2 did better in the corrosion test

I'm not a fan of Tan or Brown guns and this pup is no exception. My son in law just got a Sig Scorpion Carry and it's tan Cerakote , nice shooting gun but I don't care for the color.

I like traditional gun finishes. However there is a LARGE market for tactical/military colored guns especially with young shooters in our area.

Yep and theres a lot of call for a $7 Starbucks Cinnamon Dolce Crème Frappuccino with carmel and sprinkles topped with whip cream and a cherry, just not by me.
  Traditional for me as well.

Me too in most cases, but I've found myself wanting a Springfield XD with OD green frame and stainless slide lately.

I do like the green.  Have a Glock .357 Sig compact.  It's a keeper; course, that's not unusual.    :)

The Coyote could rise to the top of the collectible list. Get 'em while they're hot.

Not a bad idea!  In fact, a good one.    :)

I'm going to pass too, however, it's probably is a good idea.  I always, nearly, miss the boat.    ;D

Edsels are quite valuable now. A lot of folks passed on them, too.

I wondered who would bring that up.  That is a PERFECT example of making a time promise that didn't happen, and why they won't do it again.

Would they have been better off just keeping their mouths shut instead of releasing inside information to this forum?  YES.  Lesson learned.

So that is exactly why you won't hear about new products anymore until they are ready to go.   If you commit to a date and miss it -- you are deemed by some to be a bad manufaucturer who can't meet its commitments, and has no respect for its customers.  On the other hand, if you wait to announce a new product until it's ready to go out the door -- there is very little downside.   I think I know which way I would go.

Well said, DD!

The Brothers Rohrbaugh have staked their time (lives) and fortunes on the belief that they could design and market the finest pocket pistols yet offered while we still enjoy our rights under the  Second Amendment to the United States Constitution. The record to date would indicate that they have succeeded.

After years of planning and work, they unveiled the R9 prototype at SHOT 2002.

I and a number of others immediately got in line.

In May 2004, I took delivery of R9 No. 132.

That pistol has been my 24/7 EDC since that time.

I have enormous admiration for those who will dedicate their time (lives) and fortunes on a concept and the effort to bring that concept to market. I believe that is one description of capitalism.

Richard...thanks!...nice hearing that for these several (10) years, you too are convinced of the R9.  Sure is reassuring....
