Bringing this thread back up with a question:  The VZ black cherry grips pictured on page one on a Covert are very dark and look great.  However, on the VZ website the black cherry grip pictures look more red/orange and would not, in my opinion, look well on the Covert.  Those of you who have ordered black cherry, how to they really look?

My VZ grips are like your first description and not red/orange.

Thanks John...I went with the carbon fiber...love the look of the darker red but I'm not much into bling anyway and VZ never answered my inquiry about color change.
