James Joyce
1882 - 1941
An Irish poet and novelist whose prose writing style is commonly referred to as the "stream of consciousness" in which he wrote 900 page novels, (Ulysees, for example), in which the events take place in a single day, he dispenses with punctuation and the book is one sentence.
He was required reading for me in pursuit of my bachelor's degree. It was very cool, at one time, to pretend that you actually understood the book. Uh uh. I prefer reading the Rohrbaugh Forum. Do what tracker says.
