I have used the Blazer Brass in the pup for range ammo with no issues but will not use the Blazer Aluminum in it, that goes in the Glock. (I do not buy the Aluminum but have had some given to me)

The Blazer should be good to go for the range if Rohrbaugh uses it as test ammo.

Hard to say if they still use Blazer that post is over six years old.

This part of the post explains why they stopped using the Blazer ammo.

When my R9 was returned to the factory to correct firing pin light taps and FTF, I spoke to Karl Rohrbaugh and he was not surprised at how well the CCI ammo worked in my R9.  Earlier on, Karl used CCI ammo for factory testing with positive results.  [COLOR="Red"]However, Blazer using aluminum casings, could not be used for certain states requiring a spent brass sample supplied with the handgun. Thus explaining the change to Winchester 115g defense JHP

Good info, John.  I would think, though, it would still be a good range round, and as you said, you had no problems with it.  I've not tried it.

And I wouldn't use the Aluminum either.
