Understand, I would hope my new found buddy would be able to make me a pair one day?

I would not mind finding a "dimond in the rough" as I would love to do finish, sights and grips to my taste.   If you come buy one let me know please.

Dino:

Enigma knows more about the P7 line than I shall ever hope to do, but that one in your link appears to be good value for the money. It should also provide a suitable platform for the wizards at Robar, Fords, or APW to work some of their magic if you were so inclined.

But, Master, I must first seek truly and fully to understand the mysteries of the lowly "heeler" before I can even hope to learn the secrets of the shielded M8, much less those of the rare but mighty "brick."    ;)

Snag it...as you can see from Rich's photos they can be turned into works of "functional art"....

and you will become a whitebelt on the evolutionary chain of P7 enlightenment....or better known as a...A HEELER !  ;D

I hear you, P7, on the limited quantity wood grips for the "1 of 500" I commented on above. However, I stand by what I said as to commemoratives and think the better point you make is to get a decent gun and send it to charm school as Richard did.

Meanwhile, all that back and forth stuff between P7 and Richard? Don't understand it but it's fun to read.

Just got off the phone with a wonderful rep who said they had a lot in stock with more comming.  Going to get my credit card after I call my FFL to make sure he will accept it.

What a great day!  ;D

I have to buy something for my wife on the way home.

Guys, check out the P7 holsters on the same site.

Great job, Dino.  Now which charm school does the P7 go to?    ;)

Anywhere but Harvard. That's the place where they take your gun and give it to the criminals.

Sccchwwweeet...good deal Dean!

I have personally seen work from Cogan, Mashovsky, Fords and the now defunct Tripps (not really defunct, just not doing plating anymore) They were all fantastic.

Fords is only an hour from me.

The next thing you have to ask yourself is:

Do I want the mill marks removed?

Do I want brushed flats or not?

Remove any import marks or warnings?

All things to consider....

If you are going to hump this thing in CC, get your self some tritium sites for it.

Once you have all this done, give me a call and we will talk about your grips ;D
