I've had Nitesighters on my Pup since a month after I bought it back in '07, and changed them only once in that time. I machined dimpled recesses into the sight bosses on mine (a very tricky job that I'm proud to say came out well - but this is not a project for the inexperienced, or faint of heart) and installed them using a tiny dot of super glue and needle-sharp tweezers. When the R9 is left on the bedside stand for awhile with the reading light on they stay charged thru the night. If I were ever to need the gun in a pinch when still half asleep and doped up on adrenalin I'd MUCH RATHER have these than not, as I can now whip the gun off the table and have it lined up exactly on the door in one easy sweep. The sight bosses simply will not accept available tritium capsules, so I've found these to be the best solution for me. Easy on, easy off, and they stay put til I take 'em off.
STILL would rather have Crimson Trace Grips. Any who agree should see that thread in this forum to sign up with CT as being interested. We'll soon live in a world where your pup can paint your target without you having to paint it.
