Absolutely, thats what makes a forum like this and world go round, those who do and those who benefit from the doers.

I do like it.  I've learned a lot here, and try to pass it on to others.

Wired,
I just ordered a couple of boxes of the Federal 95gr, they should be here next week. I will let you know if my pup likes them. If you haven't already ordered and are going to, get the Magtecs, that way we will have tested two brands of lighter bullets. :D

Very good, Wired and John.  Hope they work.  I'll learn something else.

Hello Everyone, today I fired 40rds of Cor-Bon 95gr DPX with no issues at all as far as functionality is concerned. However there was ample evidence of keyholing (about 1 in4) and the accuracy for me was not as good as my typical GD groupings. And as we all know 40rds is hardly enough to establish complete reliably but I feel that was enough for today. I wonder if other will have the same results, thanks,
Mike

Thank you. That was a considerable investment in ammo for the cause. Very odd they would keyhole. I noted this on old 125 gr Nyclads with about the same frequency. Still waiting for my Magtecs to arrive

Interesting about the keyholing, how does the recoil compair to 115gr Gold Dots or Silvertips ?

This is the info on the ammo I will be trying in my pup.
It will be interesting to see how it feeds.

Extremely rare 9mm Luger made by Federal Cartridge Company for Radway Green to be used in applications where low ricochet bullets are a necessity, such as Urban Combat. Brass is headstamped RG. Loaded with a very unique 95 Grain Jacketed Soft Point flat nose bullet.
High velocity standard pressure load is safe for use in all modern firearms.

I'm going to answer out of school here, but would think the recoil would be less.  Just my thoughts and will be interesting to know.

I agree, I can tell you when I had my custom 44 Rhino, there was a big difference in recoil between a 180gr and a 320gr bullet.

I have the same experience with the .454 shooting 300gr. and then dropping to 250 gr.  A big difference, however, I like the 300 gr. better.

I could not noticeably tell the difference btw the recoil of the 115gr GD and the 95gr DPX. After shooting 40rds of the DPX, I shot my carry 115gr GD's (6+1 and 6rd mag) tighter groupings no signs of keyholing on the target. Total of 53 rounds today, no failures, but I did notice my grips becoming loose...need to trade for the CF black ones.....................

A little BLUE loc-tite on the screws will cure the loose grip problem, a dab of nail polish is said to work also, I can't verify that because my wife won't let me near hers. ;D

John.  You can buy a bottle of your own nail polish.    ;D
