My New R9
« on: April 09, 2010, 08:28:44 AM »
Well as some of you know, I had gone to this year's shot show and met with Eric.We discussed my R9s I had at that time. I was very pleased with it and it's performance, but there was something I always did not want on the R9s, it was the sights.
So after talking about shipping the R9s back and doing whatever t took, I decided to sell that R9s and order a new R9.
I ordered the new R9 what seems like only a few weeks ago,I don't have the exact date. I sold my R9s and I will have to say, it was not nice not having that small 9mm available to me.I was shocked when I received notice that it had arrived.

Here it is in all it's splendor, pictured with a Del Fatti holster.

A Rohrbaugh and a Del Fatti. That's about as good as it gets!

Very nice, chameleon.  I, too, wondered why you didn't like the sights.  If you're happy, though, that's what counts.    :)

I'll be.  That was the obvious answer.  We just didn't see it.    ;D

You know, now I want the sights back! J/K.

The sights, oh man before I ordered that first R9s, I thought long and hard about those sights. Then I read somewhere that though the sights were small, they worked, so I decided to go with the sights.
I went to the range the first time and couldn't use them, too small for me.I like the smooth look with out the sights, I also like the feel.

Corey, yeah, I have to put those grips on.

The R9 looks great just the way it is.

Yep.  I like the sights on the R9.  Now, the Seecamp .32 has no sights and I like it just fine; and I agree, the R9 looks great just the way it is.    :)

That's beautiful, Chameleon!

The black CFs also look pretty good in a Hedley.  8)
