The technique of drawing from a holster with a full-counterprint panel will vary from person to person, depending among other factors on the size of a person's hand. Since I have relatively small hands, I use the last two fingers of my right hand to lift the pistol from the holster, grasping with my thumb while sliding my middle finger under the trigger guard and placing my index finger along the slide. Personally, I avoid inserting my trigger finger into the guard until I'm ready to fire the weapon.
