Finally got it and went to the range twice this weekend(it was a GOOD weekend ;D).

My impressions after about 50 round per session with Hornadys 147gr TAP ammo and a 124gr lead practice load;

The good-
I like the gun alot from an ergonomic standpoint.  It "whacks" the fleshy web of my hand with the hammer on quick double taps, causing a small cut after the second day, no big deal.
It's plenty accurate with the 2 types of ammo I shot(roughly 1 1/2" at 10 paces). POI is within an 1" of POA.
Recoil is really not an issue with it, 40-50 rounds at a time is plenty, but it does not display the uncontrollable nature of my 340PD with mag loads.

The not so good-
At the end of both sessions the gun started to "stick" when trying to rack the slide, locking it up completely at the end of the second session.  Cleaning each time revealed what appeared to be small flakes of brass(1 or 2 each time) under the barrel(chamber area).  This apparently keeps the barrel from dropping/camming down enough to clear the barrel hood.  2 FTF/stovepipes near the end of each session(1 each session), last shot each time, indicate to me perhaps the need for the "new" mag springs- this was a used gun and probably has the older springs.

Bottom line; I likey :)

Now I have to accesorize with some carry leather!

I had a brass-shaving issue with mine, and new magazine springs solved the problem.  For this little gun, 50 rounds is a lot to fire before cleaning it.

Fireball7709, Clean and lube. Tolerences are tight and the gun doesn't tolerate alot of dreck. Change your springs.  Check to see if you have the new mag springs.  If you don"t change them too.  Also you should let the gun cool a little after a couple mags.  Good Luck  Dan

Thanks for sharing your experience on the springs.  I intend to get some replacments.
50 may be alot, but I was having FUN ;D

Thanks Dan, I've been keeping it cleaned and lubed and it came with a new recoil spring which I put in before I shot it.

I'll be getting some new springs soon and see what that does for me!
