As Tracker mentioned, I use Ballistol for both cleaning and lubrication of all my firearms. Also, like the Captain, with my R9, because of its tight tolerances, I usually add a dab of Super Lube Synthetic Grease on the slide/frame interface.
As for Ballistol, I consider it to be the ultimate "survival juice" and always have a can or two of it in my "war bag." I use it for treating leather hunting boots and other gear, cleaning wooden rifle stocks, helping to start campfires in rainy weather, mosquito repellant, etc., etc. (If it weren't for my wife's objections, I'd probably even use the stuff as an after shave lotion.
