IMO, not worth contacting.  I can shoot Hornady or ATK products and achieve the same goal.  Specifically, the 32 ACP setbacks like crazy, and I've read reports that 357 does the same thing.  It's a known problem with 32ACP.  Just check the Seecamp forum out as well, I'd imagine, Kel-Tec forum.  I'd like to blame it on one batch; but I tried several different lots (bought 1 box at at time months apart) and each and every time, same problem - over a 2 year time period.

Not sure, but I think I even noticed it on an old 40 S&W I used to own about 3 years ago.

OK, I will call Peter to see what his thoughts are.

Well,

If you're a personal friend of Mr. Pi, then go for it.  I doubt I could be of any help anyway since I fired all that stuff and switched brands so I have no clue as to lot numbers and such.  However, the 32 was very repeatable so I suspect it could be duplicated even today.

I'm very happy with switching to ATK products as they seem to have good quality control (maybe not Hornady good, but better than anybody else) and have the best bullet designs around.

That said, I'm impressed you are that concerned about CorBon's products.

Frankly, I am not brand loyal, just interested in quality, and life preservation.  If a company has it, then they have my money, as does Rohrbaugh.

Richard,
As recently as Wednesday Maria reported they were sold out and back-ordered.  She said they should have it in stock after the Shot Show.

Murray:

Thank you for posting that information.

Last month, I purchased some of the new Cor-Bon DPX 80-grain "screamers," along with one of those beautiful Ken Onion designed "Leek" folders (stainless/serrated edge), from The Rohrbaugh Store as a self-indulgent Christmas present for myself. I haven't tried the Cor-Bons yet, but I intend to do so at a future range session. Being traditionally a member of the "bigger rock" school of thought, I'm one of those who has been using the 147-grain Remington Golden Saber BJHPs in my R9. It will be interesting to compare the two rounds side by side.
