Another Pup in the Kennel
« on: August 03, 2007, 12:54:15 AM »
Just so my R9s would not be lonely being surrounded by all thoses Seecamps...I took the plunge and bought a Stealth R9 (no sites).
I had never really wanted a Stealth before until all you guys started posting Pics of those Black Beauties... then the enivitable happened, and I just couldn't resist.
Besides, I don't think I've ever seen a Stealth w/o sites before. Not very common I don't think.  :-/
I should have it in a few days, as long as the Creek don't rise, and UPS don't start with all the Anti Gun BS that E bay is pulling  >:(. I'll keep youz posted on the progress.
Later,
Mark

Hi Mark,

I have had my eyes on a used R9 Stainless that I will more than likely pick up. All ready have a R9S Stealth and thinking about getting it a play mate.

I just feel under gunned with the 380 Seacamps. I could all ways use the R9 for a NY reload.

WS6,

It's strange, knowing both are the exact same size but I think the stealth looks smaller in the pics.

I am waiting for my R9S Stealth to come back from Deer Park. Had to send the pup back for light primer strikes.  They received it today so I figure I will probably have it back about the middle of next week.

The last time I sent it back I was on vacation and I am on vacation again this time. Sent it right before I left. Having to carry my 340PD Smith. About the same weight but boy is it bigger.

Stealth is a good name for it. lol.

I am up in Michigan where I have been going for some time on vacations. Thats nice with W.Va. being added on. I also have my Florida license which makes about 32 or 33 states good with both.  Still would like to see a national system to look at all permits to be good like a drivers license.

I think I will get another pup. In this hot weather you don't realize how good the pup conceals until you start trying to deal with some thing bigger.

Me Three on the national system. Stuck here in NY no reciprocity with any other state.  When I drive to Florida have to go unarmed. Pit stops in the middle of the night can be uncomfortable. Dan

Brenden,

Isabella County. We come up here 2 or 3 times a year.  Seems like I get to Michigan a lot for both business and pleasure. Also go to Livonia on business.

Soaring Eagle is where the wife spends most of her time, I spent most of mine catching some nice bass and the annual pow wow there.

Also get up to Black Lake once in a while. Sounds like that is closer to you.
