Automobile Heat and the R9S
« on: July 20, 2007, 09:27:21 PM »
I'm in and out of my car all day. At some stops I have to leave my gun in the car, in a lock box, usually about 30 minutes. Summer heat here is between 95 and 102 degrees. Will this do any harm to my R9S? Any thoughts or comments will be appreciated. Thanks, Neal

No worrys 'bout your pup in the heat........I'd be more worried 'bout the heat YOU could feel without it. ;)

Unless you are going into a government facility (courthouse, etc.) why would you leave your only means of self protection in the car??

Sure, keep your Kel-Tec PLR16 in the trunk, but keep your Rohrbaugh in your pocket!!!

Just remember... bad guys NEVER follow the laws! Why do you place yourself in jeopardy without reason?

ah yes, understood... I work in a gun unfriendly office, so mine stays in the car at work, under the floormat & no problems.

CN053 - your Pup get's hotter after a couple of mags of rapid fire than sitting in your car even all day long in the hot summer.

She's built to take it.
