As an aside..

I understand that slight changes have been made internally with the pup over time..
I also took a couple of shots of the outer rear of slides of a Deer Park made (Left) and the Farmingdale (right)

These are of the 2 that I have in my sight at the moment,I will have to see if they are consistent in shape to the "others" I have available..

Brenden - I had gotten  a Deer Park first but had to have a Farmingdale also - so I did.

 Dave,

That's a fabulous holster you have for the R9.

It looks familiar.   ;)

Go Steelers!

Brenden,
Which of your guns has the lower serial number?
Just curious because of the difference in the color of the anodizing on the frames. Mine is a Deer Park with an early frame (2xx) but it looks more like your Farmingdale gun.

Hi RJ  Good to be back.  My office was being renovated and I have been like a gypsy.  All is back to normal and I have computer time again.   I spent some time upstate and did some shooting.  All was perfect, Still Happy.  Dan

The Farmingdale is a lower R #,by about 400 or so..

Does' the slide appear the the same with the more "angular" aspect??

I didn't have my R9 with me when I posted before.
Now that I have it in front of me, the color of the frame more closely resembles your Deer Prk gun, and my slide has the more rounded contours. It could have been my screen at work.
