I was informed the maker of the mags is *Checkmate* has anyone heard of them???

I've had no experience with them. However, when doing an internet search where I found the above link, I came across a couple of bulletin board posts where someone was griping about the "checkmate" magazines that are being purchased by the US Marines for use in the M9 pistol....
