I ordered June 1 and received on June 4. Pretty fast service.
Since the tubes are only 12 gr. I got three to help spread out the $3.00 shipping.
I hope the pistol will never be required for an actual case of protection, but if so....
I don't want to hear them say: "Well, he should have used Super Lube".

I bought some Super Lube PTFE so when my R-9s comes in I'll have it on hand. Does anyone know if I can also use it on my Seecamp and NAA Guardian .380, or is it only recommend for the R-9s. It just seems like if would be good for a very precise firearm Like the R-9, it would be good for all. But I figured that I had better check with those more knowledgeable than me.

Go to the Seecamp sight at
www.seecamp.com
and ask them that question by email. Larry Seecamp usually complains that people overlube his guns.

Mike,
I bought a high end Trap gun a while back. The fellow that owns the shop recommended using Superlube. He included a tube with the gun.
I don’t know if this tid- bit help, I just thought I’d pass it on.

Thanks Bill,
It's a big help. I e-mailed Larry Seecamp on the Seecamp website and he said Super Lube would be OK for Seecamps too, both .32 and .380. So I guess if it's good for Seecamps and Rohrbaugh R-9's it's probably good for everything.

I have been using Slide Guide on my 1911's, Glocks and HK with excellent results. Is there any reason not to use it on my Rs when the time comes?

In one instance, I remember reading that the Rohrbaugh brothers had said you should use a good quality lubricant, or words to that effect.
There is no overwhelming rule to use Super Glide and Mobil 1 0-30w.
I did buy both products before hearing the above statements.

I could not get Super Lube through a local source and I read on another thread on here you could go to Radio Shack and by the stuff under the label 'Lube Gel'. Radio Shack stock number 64-2326. Three ounce tube is $1.97. I went and compared the MSDS (Material Data Safety Sheet) for both products and it is made by the Super Lube folks and it looks like it has the same chemical make up.
Respectfully,
Jim

Also read this page. Look at the bottom where the Super Lube company representative states it is the same stuff:

Bob,
Another option is to get on the Militec web site, and ask for their free samples of Militec oil and Militec grease. I believe the request is made via email.
The grease would work just fine on the R9, I'm sure.
