Does the wax help add to the gip?

Making it more tacky as well ?

Didn't think so.  It's a wax/polish!    :)

I use the Renaissance Wax on the entire gun, including the grips -- even the textured VZ grips, just making sure that I use a very light touch so as not to leave deposits of wax in any crevices. The wax doesn't make the grips any "grippier." It just provides protection for the entire exterior of the firearm from damaging effects of fingerprints, sweat, water, holster abrasion, etc., etc. Here is a link to more information on it:

Just got the Renaissance Wax in the mail and have now applied it to the #127; just a little dab goes a long way.  This is some good stuff.  Have now applied it to the R973.  You gotta get and try this.  A big thanks, Richard!

After reading through this thread I ordered a pair for my R9. I am glad I did. The palm swell and grippy G10 is OUTSTANDING. I am going to go squeeze off a few rounds with these  ::)

I can tell you, I already like it; I'll tell you again in a couple weeks as you asked.

I have used the Ren Wax for a couple years now on my knives, but never thought to use it on the pup.   I will give it a try.

This wax has been applied to almost everything I own in metal, leather, and wood except my cars and the kitchen sink. It is an outstanding product.
