I tried taking my Pup in-hand and pushed & pulled it out of my dress shirt in-between my shirts button and guess what --- it fit threw the gap between buttons. In the event of a hostile confrontation, I think an attacker would be far less guard from someone acting like they are grabbing their chest out of fear vs. reaching in a pocket or waist band of small of the back.
From just my experience of carrying around as Smartphone (Blackberry) on a side clip holster, in-Pocket, etc., I just think of all the awkward spearing, stabbing, and pressure caused by those devises which are still smaller and about a quarter of the weight in the course of everyday activity.
From what I’ve read, it appears that the Kangaroo holster configuration is one of the carrying style approaches utilized by the US Air Marshalls. Talk about a roll that concealment is paramount and involves significant about of confided sitting.
Also has is there a Fobus holster that fits the R9? This seems like a ideal side holster for tactical training or to where under a un-tucked shirt.
Thanks --- Jim
