quality belts

 I am interested in feedback about good quality leather belts. I am interested in the Milt Sparks belts that have a slight curve to them.

 Do any members own any of these belts? If so information would be appreciated.

I got Robert with Meco pocket holster to make me one.  I LOVE it!  I got him to make it double thick.  It would hold up two 50cal desert eagles with no problem.  Looks great too.

I have a couple of Akers belts and am very please with them, good price and good quality.
I also have a Rafter S belt that is very good quality but causes problems with some types of holsters because it extra thick.

Crossbreed also makes an excellent belt.

I have a Kramer horsehide dress belt that has had over 20 years of Hard service and is Still going strong.

I have a Wilson Combat Shark dress belt that I got when they first started doing holsters - 10 yrs or so ago???  And it still looks good after hard use.

I also have a Rafter S Leather dress belt in Elephant that is about 6 yrs old and used hard and it still looks new as well.

At least one of these belts is worn daily.


Lots of good choices.  And it you get what you pay for.   $100-$175 for a belt may seem high, but over 10-20 yrs - not so bad.

i wear a 1.75" milt sparks. very well made, great leather, well worth the money and very long wait. (see pix below, shown with matching HSR holster)

but often too stiff for daily wear if not "carrying".

i wanted something a bit lighter for daily wear, but one that could still do double duty as a holster belt. i spent a couple years looking around and ended up with a 1.5" Ross Dress Belt. its also in a high quality leather. i'm quite pleased with it too. they're available in brown or black from Brownells:
