Next Thursday, October 13, will be the 236th birthday of the United States Navy. Happy Birthday, Navy!

Thank you, sir. The Navy is four months junior to the magnificent Army but we are close allies, nonetheless. Naval Aviation is 100 years old this year and there have been 153,000 designated Naval Aviators. The rate has slowed to about 1000 a year with fewer carriers than in previous years.

Having watched both teams closely this season I am predicting an Army victory in the upcoming Army-Navy game.
