Racoon Bait
« on: January 14, 2010, 09:44:46 PM »
Came to Critter Creek to find that one of the usual suspect racoons had taken up residence in the attic. And he wasn't paying any rent.

"Get rid of him," says Herself.

"Yes, Darling," says I.

Retrieve live trap from tool shed. What to use for bait? There's a Snickers bar in the glove compartment of the SUV. Use that.

Next morning, racoon in trap, full of Snickers.

Transport racoon by SUV ten miles away and release him in another valley behind another mountain.
Return to cabin, locate and board up previously unnoticed access port to attic of cabin.

Lesson of story: Racoons like Snickers.

(1963-1967) "GO ARMY!"

That's what I'm saying; snookered by the Snicker bar.

Exactly.  He's found a new taste.  Peanuts and candy in the same bite.   His thoughts, "I gotta have more of that stuff."
