Richard, I'm sorry to hear of your loss, and know just how you feel. We have lost both dogs and cats over the years and have had to have a couple put to sleep, which I find much harder than the natural passing of a pet.

Thank you, my friends, one and all.
It is done -- sad work in the fog and rain of a Smoky Mountain morning. Tut is at rest at Critter Creek with his head toward the rising sun and a large moss-covered stone to mark his spot.
Thank you again.

Just saw this sad news .
My best to you Richard on your loss.
Tut was loved and a part of your family.
My best buddy Spencer is 11 now and I love him like a son.
Those who never loved a pet can never understand how much they mean to us.
My last dog Jesse lived to 17 and still think of him daily when I past by his resting spot for the past 11 years.
Take care good friend.
Dave
