Tom -- at the risk of drifting this thread a bit -- I decided against the Hummer H3 and cancelled the order before it came in.  My wife decided she really wanted an SUV and I decided we didn't need two.  Of course, having her truck available when needed (to haul the kayaks, Home Depot trips, etc.) freed me up to go all the way to the other end of the spectrum...

My first two-door sports car since I was 17!

That would appear to be a 2005 Infiniti G35 V6 Sports Coupe with 298 horses under the hood and 6 gears to keep them motivated.  I like it!

Close, Richard.  It is a 2005 Infiniti G35 Coupe 5AT, not 6MT.  I opted for the 5-speed auto.

In the auto, it only generates 280 hp.    However, a slight flick of the wrist and the addition of a "Z-Tube", the air intake box from the Nissan 350Z (same motor), will restore the shackled beast to its full, unadulterated 298 horse glory.

Frankly, I have to keep opening the hood and counting the cylinders.  It sounds and feels like a 5 liter V-8 to me.

Capt - if you fill in name zip, a comment and if needed a pic from your puter and hit ''add me'' it should take that and place a marker.

Duane - great idea - like it.  Interesting thus far we are all to East of an approx center line!!!  Mind you - from habit because my main handle - added as P95Carry but hey - most folks I think know by now that R9SCarry and P95Carry are same fella

I was happy to participate and think it is a Super idea.

The Internet being what it is, with the ever present need for caution, I was reluctant to provide identifying information which could be seen by people outside the board.

I'm sure many of us were.

I was able to name an approximate location by picking a zip code in the general part of the state.

This is a difficult idea to implement.  Frankly, I could think of no better technique than Zip code.  It does the job very neatly.
