Ruger 45LC
« on: April 07, 2010, 01:58:17 PM »
KJ,  shot the 45LC Saturday along with a lot of my other Safe Queens.

I love the gun, why?  Price vs performance!  I paid, (I should say my wife paid as it was a Christmas present), somewhere between $500 to $600 if I remember right and it shot awsome.

Rear sight was adjusted at the factory, windage was perfect and the top of the front sight lined up level with the top of the rear sight at 20 yards.  Dead on.

Loved the 45LC Winchester 250 grain lead round.  It surprised me in that it zinged more than banged.

Did not switch out to the 45ACP as they were jacketed and I did not want to cover up the lead in the barrel with copper.

Fun gun for the money.

Dino.  Thanks for the update.  I felt sure you would really like the Ruger LC.  One fine gun.  Excellent.
