Anyone have an idea of what it is worth?

 I Used to shoot alot of Trap and Skeet, and during one of my trips to Italy I went to the Berreta Factory and bought a Shotgun.
 It is a Model 682 setup Skeet-Skeet w/28" Barrell.  This was back in 1985 and I have not used the gun in about 20 years.
Gun is probably 99%. Still very tight.

 I am curious as to it's approx value but I can find no referance source for it as it is so old and the 682 was a very expensive competition gun so not many were sold compaired to the more common Field grades. And no it is not a 682 Gold. That model did not exist when I bought my gun.  Anybody have a clue? Tom?

 Close, but, that model is much newer and made to appeal to the guys that like shiney. Mine was made in the theory of form follows function. My Gun was also an Italian Model, not a Model designed to be sent to the states. (That may be one of the reasons finding another like it is so hard) Shiney did not make it run better. So my finishes are all satin to keep the reflections down and give a better "feel" to the wood. Also no Gold colors are involved as they did not do anything for improving scores.

That one is a newer model as well. Having adjustable stock,
Also a Gold model (Yellow Trigger), and a ported looks to be "well used" trap gun.

Barrel length preferences have changes in the past few decades and longer barrels are more common at least in trap.  If the same is the case with skeet then you will have a hard time with the sell because of this.

Poke around on some skeet forums and you will undoubtedly find a post of a newcomer the the sport of skeet inquiring about what length barrels to buy.  This should be helpful to see if your barrels are consistent with what is deemed to be the choice length today.

 Trap has always had longer Barrel length. My Trap Setup 26 years ago was a Franchi 2000 Combo, It had a 32" "Double Barrel" and a 34" "Single". How long are they now? 28" skeet is a good length due to speed and pattern. Many people ended up with 30" because they had a General purpose Semi Auto and were shooting Sporting Clays which needs to reach longer than Skeet Hence a little longer and more common barrel length .

  I am not trying to sell my Skeet gun, just trying to get a handle on it's worth. I was offered close to $2000 for it a few months ago by a dealer sight unseen.
