Thank you all for your comments. I do not own a camera but it looks just like the picture on the US Firearms website. What you do not get from the photo is the gun in your hand which is a transforming experience; quality oozes from muzzle to backstrap.
Dealer had no .38 Super ammo so it is a looker so far. I do not intend to shoot this gun a lot. It is a masterpiece, plain and simply.
It is tempting to state that the money spent for this firearm is a better investment than a premium R9. This is folly as the two guns are apples and oranges. The R9 is my favorite gun and the gun I carry. Whereas the R9 is a "personal sidearm" that goes everywhere I go, the Super .38 is a great gun to come home to, admire, shoot little and add much class to your gun collection.
Oh yeah; by the way, (as if we didn't know), Tom Watson is much more than a Rohrbaugh dealer.
