HK P7M8 - Chantilly Import
« on: March 12, 2008, 08:57:54 PM »
Here it is gentlemen and ladies:

My fourth P7M8 but first Chantilly import. 1984 date code. I finally found one when the cash was on hand! I sold the last three for various reasons. Always knew I'd get another. I hope I'm never in a position to have to sell this one.

If I ever decided to sell it for no good reason; someone please kick me in the head.

I just picked up a P7 today myself.....not anything like that but a PSP with Trijicons and Robar NP3 coated inside and out plus the mags.

Going to try and get away to shoot it tomorrow.  :)

That's a beautiful Chantilly there, JB.  It's going to be a fine St. Patrick's Day you'll be havin'!    8)

Having shot my P7 the first time a few weeks back all I can say is that the accuracy is quite good.

At what distance are P7's tested at?  I shot the first 4 or 5 mags at 7 yards adn then another mag at about 15 yards adn the first round went into the 8 ring.  Just curious.

Thanks

I don't know what distance they are tested at but I do know they are way accurate well beyond any reasonable self defense distance, not to mention fastest into action, SA trigger, safe, and reliable. Best 9mm auto ever made IMHO! But to big for pocket carry. ::)

I actually managed to drop mine in the pocket of my hiking pants...  Heavy though...

Any suggestions where to look up details of my gun?
