Got a SIG 239 SAS in .40S&W (7+1) with their special DAK double-action only trigger as a combination birthday / Christmas present ...
... It goes very well with my Rohrbaugh R9.

I have a standard model Sig P239 (traditional double action) and really like it. You should find yours to be ultra reliable and accurate.
Those wood grips look sharp. I just may contact Sig about a set for my P239.

Another way to dress a 239...mine in 9mm, factory nickel, and a set of factory grips that Houge added checkering to.
With some other little 9mm on top:
Hiding in plain sight?

I was giving SERIOUS consideration to getting the nickel model -- kept going back and forth.

I really like that SAS. The trigger is much better than the regular DAK system, as it has been worked on by the custom shop.
I am not a big fan of nickel on my guns, but that pistol is very nice and could change my mind.
Thanks for sharing.

Steve,
I got my Goncalo Alves wood grips from Hogue for the P239.
I paid extra to have them made thin, and more extra to get premium selected wood.
If anybody needs detailed information, I can provide it.

I was lucky enough to be able to fondle a SIG SAS 239 yesterday and I can say that it felt superb. I had a hard time not adding it to my collection but in the end I just couldn't justify it (now anyways

I couldn't justify it either (
already have a number of compact .40's
) which is why I had to wait for my birthday/Christmas when I don't have to justify it because it's a 'gift'.
