I got my black hooked mag extension four weeks before I got my R9s. I treated it like a new pup. Finally got the R9s last Friday and mated it with the mag extension...a match made in heaven!! I have a big hand and the fit with ring finger on top of hook and little finger under is phenominal! Showed it to some of my club members who have Rohrbaughs and think they all will be placing orders! Great work! Not just an accessory but a critical addition. This has totally stabilized the gun in my hand.

I have plenty of black hooked, about half a dozen silver hooked, one silver straight and five black straight.

Hi John,

Pardon my ignorance but do the extensions attach to the gun or the magazines? If its the magazine, I guess I would need two instead of one, correct? Also, does the natural (aluminum) match the slide color of the standard R9? Are there any pics of a standard R9 with the black extension? Does the hook extension interfere with concealment/draw? Does it change it in any way? Standard holster still work with it?

Ramon,
The extensions replace the floor plate on the mag, I can't tell you if the natural finish matches the slid because my R9 has the Robar finish on it. I do not have a pic of a standard R9 with a black unit installed. I don't notice any difference in concealment or draw, maybe someone else can add there experience with the extension, and maybe a pic of a black hooked on a standard R9. No issue with holsters.
