I have to agree with the last two statements, I got mine in this mornings mail, and like it a lot. Sturdy, easy to use and very well thought out tool. Thank you David.      Gene

I did not realize that my release would create so much discussion. Design and development and production took much longer than originally planned.  But as I have learned, most production companies will not deal with a  individual developer, and when they do, you are a low priority.
This project became a passion. It was too important to be left as a patent and not be brought to the gunowner marketplace. I designed it so that ANYONE could take this gun down with ease and perform the necessary maintenance. This is a gun of last defense.  Malfunction due to neglect is not a option. The R-9 is the finest carry pistol and I felt that this was  a needed option.
I apologize for any confusion re ordering but I wanted to release my product to this membership first and ASAP. My website with PayPal should be up next week . I will post the site and details when it is live.

I Just received my takedown tool from David S. I disassembled the slide in seconds and reassembled it in the same time without any help. I was amazed at how great this tool performed.  ;D. A good buy, a good tool, a great price!

David,

The two tools arrived safe and sound today (could have been yesterday as I did not check). That was very fast. Tomorrow will be gun cleaning day I will let you all know what I think.

Robar233, Thanks for the feedback on the shipping and your purchase. Proper packaging to protect the product via USPS shipping was a concern. DavidS

David,

I just cleaned the R9 a few minutes ago and used your handy tool. It was a breeze! I did use my Headly tool for re-installing the guide rod. My hands are too clumsy for the syringe technique. I used the cut off Q-tip trick I read on the forum for a punch. I did not want to risk scratching the pin.
Thanks for making a great idea into a great product.

 Sincerely,
 Robar233
